The First Caricatures

That’s how eveything started for me. I can’t remember exactly the year, but I worked at Banco do Nordeste do Brasil, and our team was requested to make some caricatures based on the most sympathetic persons of that institution for a campaing regarding safety access to departments.

The caricatures would be printed in large stickers to be pasted on the doors in corridors. I think we made about 25 caricatures. Here are some of them. After that, I got very interested in depict the human face, and started studying everything about this kind of expression. It was a good experience, which taught me to get references for my work.

And just to make things clear: these drawings weren’t traced. They were copied from the real photos.
